Nurturing the child-I
A foetus perceives the world through its mother. The seed of energy blockage is sown when the foetus feels rejected, unloved, stress in the mother etc. The first requirement is that the foetus, all through its growth in it's mother's womb, feels the loving attention of mother and senses tranquillity in the mother.
The moment of birth of the child is a momentous occasion for it. This is the moment when it leaves the protection of mother's womb. The exit from a mother's womb becomes sudden when the child is removed from the womb by surgically opening the womb. This is a shock to the child. Natural birth is gradual and not a shock to the child, although it means s great deal of effort and time.
Child is not prepared for separation from it's mother immediately after the birth. So long it feels the vibrations of its mother's energy field, it is happy and is willing to learn new lessons with trust. After birth, the new born baby should be kept close to its mother. Besides, this close contact - physically or within the emotional energy field of the mother - causes love and positive energy to flow to the child.
When the child is separated from mother due to reasons whatsoever, or the mother gets preoccupied elsewhere viz. the working mother, the child feels insecure and helpless, and it starts to develop further blockages. These blockages occur in the Root chakra. At this stage of development, the Root chakra of the any child is the controlling chakra as all other chakras are supplied energy through this chakra. Hence energy deficiency in this chakra weakens the full energy system of the child.
The first year of any child is the most important years and determines the child's future life path. During this time it gains experience through its physical body. It needs bodily contact with its mother, father and other loving individuals. When the child wakes up, it must feel the physical nearness of its mother whose vibrations are best known to the child. Its physical needs such as hunger, aches, are required to be addressed soon ss the child gives indications. When such care is given, the child starts to develop primordial trust of the new life conditions. And from this trust it starts to "open" up itself. Such a child will be found to smile more often than not. Seldom will it complain by crying. It trusts the world. Such a child will develop traits of responsibility at an early age.
