The Law
Revisiting - I
I had mentioned in my last post on "Mindset", that out of the 2300 plus friend following me on the journey to abundance, 50 persons have reported remarkable progress in manifestation of their desires and another about 200 persons have reported good to very good progress. I had also mentioned that it is my goal to at least quadruple the number within one year. My estimation is based on the commitment given to me by my friends in committing themselves deeply and fully in the process. It is their journey as well as mine.
I have been regularly communicating with my fellow travellers. After assimilating all the feedback that I have received, I have come to the conclusion that I will need to make my messages more down to earth eliminating the possibility of misinterpretation as much as I can. I will need to make the process more definitive and clear.
To this end I am revisiting the Law in a more structured manner in this series of posts. We must clearly understand that knowledge must be followed up with action, to ingrain the learning in our psyche. There are libraries full of books on self development, growth and positive thinking which are devoured by billions of people. Very few grow to their full potential. The difference is in taking action.
Learning a skill requires three things - knowledge, action and practice or perseverance. Learning to attract abundance is a skill. When we acquire a skill, we do not forget the basics, whether we do it everyday of after gaps of time. It is like learning cycling or swimming or for that matter any skill. Once we learn to bicycle, we can do it even after large gaps of time. Yes, we may wobble a bit. That wobbling goes with practice. With more intense practice, cycling becomes an auto action - we can do it without thinking. When we want to excel in that practice, we need to focus on our goals, put in effort, and be committed to pay the price for we want to achieve. Becoming a champion and winning a bicycling championship will require that much more focus, that much more effort, that much more discipline, that much more commitment - the price has to be paid. It is the same with the skill of attracting abundance.

I will be mostly addressing in these posts using "You". Please do not mistake my intentions. I find it easier to make my points with "You". The "you" includes everyone, specially me. I do not want to get into a preaching mode. Most of what I am going to say has been learnt by me the hard way - after taking quite a few knocks.
OK, so let us begin.
First thing first. How you have started your existence on this earth - the society in which you are born, the environment in which you have drawn your first breath, the religion which embraces you, the material wealth of your parents etc. - is just that, the starting point in your life. Your starting point or your current reality does not determine your future, if you take control of your life. This is true in both ways. If one is born in a poor family, it does not mean that one is destined to be poor. Similarly if one is born in richness, it does not ensure that one will remain rich in future. If you try to maintain status quo in your life, you are doomed to depreciate. To appreciate or amplify your life, you have to act to grow. Status quo is never maintained, as things are continuously changing, like it or not. Better like it and act.
I am not for a minute saying that the starting handicaps do not affect a person. They do. All I am saying is that the extent to which these handicaps restrict a person, depends on that person. The choices lie with the individual and every individual is empowered to make his own choices. The question is how many of us are really prepared to make our own choices and take responsibility for them. The sum total of choices that you make, shall determine your destiny.
