The Law

Secondly, integrated development of mind, body and spirit is essential for deliberate manifestation. Else things are going to happen randomly.

For development of mind, body and spirit,  we will need to examine our paradigms critically. Our external reality is an outcome of our inner environment. Hence we have to put our inner house in order for seeing the change that we desire to see in the external reality. I quote "Be the change that you want".

Are we in the habit of complaining? Complaining is a habit that says that what happens to us is dependent on others.  We are not in control of our life. We have to start building the habit of not complaining. We will promise that we will abstain from complaining today, just today. Tomorrow we will take this pledge again. If we slip up, we will not get into a regret mode. We will just get back on track.

Do we habitually blame external causes for our failures? The mindset behind blame game is same as that of complaining. We refuse to take charge of our life, to face challenges. We prefer to relax and stay within our comfort zone. Watch out for the blame statements. We pledge that today, just for today, we will not play the blame game. Tomorrow, we will take a pledge again.

Jealousy is very common charateristic with us. Jealousy is a symptom of lack mindset - there is not enough for everybody. It goes against the very grain of the Law. The Law is that there is abundance of everything for everyone.
One only needs to create.

Discontentment is another symptom of lack mindedness. I had purchased a new gleaming car. I was so happy and contented with my life - a good circle of friends, a supportive family, my own house, my books, a well paying job, not having to worry about sustenance of my family. Then the thunderbolt struck out of the blue. My neighbour purchased a more expensive car. My self worth plummeted. I felt poor. In reality, nothing that concerned me had changed. But discontentment set in. I was now in a mode to attract more discontentment.

The seed of all negative emtions lies in fear. It distorts our perspective - how we see the world, how we interprete events. It generates a sense of insecurity within us. We see a disagreement as an act of undermining our worth. Fear for physical safety is the least of the problem. The subtle fears are dangerous. Just think why do we become angry? What is behind our restlessness, impatience? What causes us to deride others? Why do we worry fully well knowing that most of the worries are only that - worries?

Monitoring thoughts is a very challenging task considering that almost 4000 thoughts flit through our minds in every waking hours. What is needed is to identify those thoughts which surface to our consciousness again and again. What do such thoughts do to us? Do we feel good or bad?. Those thoughts, that give bad feelings, are the ones that need to be eliminated. How do we eliminate a bad thought? Fighting it is of no use. Fighting or resisting a negative thought draws more attention to it and it becomes stronger. The best strategy is to acknowledge that you are in the negative zone and replace it with a positive thought, positive act.

See you again.
