Top 25 growth books - IX

The Master Key System
Charles F. Haanel

A quote from the book:
“Emerson loved the good and his life was a symphony of peace and harmony, Carlyle hated the bad, and his life was a record of perpetual discord and inharmony.”

Another quote from the book:
“Then comes the process of visualization. You must see the picture more and more complete, see the detail, and, as the details begin to unfold the ways and means for bringing it into manifestation will develop. One thing will lead to another. Thought will lead to action, action will develop methods, methods will develop friends, and friends will bring about circumstances, and, finally, the third step, or Materialization, will have been accomplished.”

The Master Key System was written by Charles F. Haanel (1866 - 1949) in the form of 24 correspondence courses and published in the form of a book in 1916.
In April 1919 Napoleon Hill wrote the following letter to Charles Haanel:
My dear Mr. Haanel:
I believe in giving credit where credit is due; therefore, I believe I ought to inform you that my present success and the success which has followed my work as President of the Napoleon Hill Institute is due largely to the principles laid down in The Master Key System. I shall cooperate with you in getting your course into the hands of the many who so greatly need your message.
Cordially and sincerely,
Napoleon Hill

The power of thought, both creative and destructive, has been explained in detail. The author has included actionable steps in utilising this power for achieving abundance.
This book pioneered the recognition of the Law of Attraction which was more or less forgotten by humanity till the early 20th century.

The book is voluminous. I recommend that it should be read in instalments of no larger than one chapter every two days. and following it up with as many recaps as possible.
One of the best self development books that I have read.

Namaste
