The 7 Master chakras
Diagnosing blocked chakras - I
Working with the chakras is a journey of self discovery. In this journey, quite often what we find out about self which will not be pleasant, if not bitter. But then we become aware of the darker side of our self for our necessary action.
How do we know which chakra(s) is blocked? We will explore various methods in the next 2 or 3 posts.
The first method is based on the symptoms discussed in previous posts under the 7 major chakras for malfunctioning of the chakras or eeak chakras. We need to watch out for appearance of these symptoms.
The second method consists of noticing how we behave under conditions of extreme stress. If your root chakra is deficient, you may wobble as if the rug is getting pulled out from under your feet. If the root chakra is overheated you may get angry and become aggressive as an immediate reaction. A deficient sacral chakra will make you feel impassive while an over active chakra will cause uncontrolled display of emotions. A weak solar plexus chakra manifests into nervousness and queasiness in the stomach. A heated chakra generates a feeling of nervous irritability and hyperactivity. Fluttering of heart under excessive duress indicates a weak heart chakra. A racing heart indicates a hyperactive heart chakra. Stuttering or a constriction in the throat indicates a weak throat chakra. Unconsidered chattering indicates a hyperactive throat chakra. A weak third eye chakra is indicated by fuzzy thinking. An over active chakra often results into headaches.
The third method is usually known as kinesiological test. You will need the help of another person to execute the test. Place the right hand palm on a chakra and extend the left hand at right angles to the body with fingers extended and palm facing downward. Ask the other person to try pressing the left arm by pushing at the wrist. If the other person feels resistance, the chakra is fine else it is not functioning properly. Move the right palm to the next chakra and repeat the test. Make sure that the left arm is adequately rested between testing the chakras.
