The Crown or Sahasrara chakra
The seventh chakra, Crown chakra, is known as Sahasrara chakra in Sanskrit.
It is located in the middle of the head at the highest point.
It opens upwards.
It's color is predominantly violet and mixed with white.
Cerebrum is associated with this chakra.
Pineal gland is associated with Crown chakra.
It is the seat of highest human perfection. Here we are one with the divinity.
While we are able to consciously influence the activation of the six lower chakras, the functioning of the seventh chakra is beyond our influence. There are no blockages in this chakra. It can only be developed to a greater or lesser extent.
The fully awakened state of this chakra, generates a heavenly serenity. You remain untouched. You are one with the divine. A child remains in this state till the age of 24 months.
In its fully awakened state, this chakra does not absorb energy bur radiates it. A bright white or golden halo of energy will be perceivable around the head.
A lesser awakened Sahasrara chakra may generate a sense of senselessness in your life. To escape this feeling, one may bury himself in intense activites and in the process burn out. Fear of death is the most common symptom of the weak state of this chakra.
Staying on the peak of a mountain and closer to the sky is very helpful in energising this chakra
Amethyst and Rock crystal are two gemstones which enhances this chakra.
The incense sticks made out of Olibanum tree bark is very good. The scend of lotus flower is also very helpful

Meditate on this chakra everyday. See a ball of bright white energy ball floating over your head. Allow it to grow till it covers your head and shoulders. Hold for 10 minutes. Ease out .
Namaste
