The 7 Energy bodies - I

We will discuss the 7 Energy bodies briefly.

The first Energy body, nearest to the physical body, is known as Ethereal body or Etheric body. It is a replica of contour of the physical body. Among all Energy bodies, Etheric body has the densest vibration. This body carries the blueprint of the physical body even before the embryo has developed organs. Therefore the development of the physical body is directed by their Etheric body. In other words the Etheric body precedes the physical body and not the other way around.

How we think has a major impact on the physical body and the Etheric body. Wrong kind of thinking, emotions etc. cause weak spots in the Etheric body causing energy leaks which ultimately cause illnesses in the physical body. Illnesses first manifest in Etheric body before manifesting in the physical body. This is no hocus pocus friends. This is stark reality. This is good news as well. There are people available who can warn you on illnesses developing in Etheric body and advise you on corrective measures to prevent the illness from manifesting into the physical body.

This body is either bluish or light grey in color and its thickness may be as high as 2 inches in normal persons. It is easily seen by naked eye.

When the physical body perishes, the Etheric body also perishes 3 to 5 days after the demise of the physical body. The other energy bodies do not perish. They get detached from the physical and the Etheric bodies on demise of the physical body.

The second energy body is called the Emotional body. This body is all about feelings. It is a fluid body and has no definite shape. It takes on color as per the emotional state of a person. English language seems to have learnt a lot from Emotional body. In English, calling anyone Yellow means he is a Coward. We say "turning green with jealousy". When we say someone is in a blue, we mean he is sad. When we say someone is seeing red, we mean he is angry. The color of the Emotional body takes on exactly the same hues on similar emotions. Pink is for love. A clear emotion generates bright colors, a staete of confusion generate dull hues.

The third layer is known as Mental body. It responds to our thoughts. It is primarily yellow in color. It also gets some color streaks from the Emotional body. It extends 3 to 8 inches from the physical body. It is prominently visible around the head and shoulder. When we are deep in thought, the Mental body enlarges and pulsates brightly.

Our thought patterns are stored here. A very strong Mental body tends to quash the emotional body. The result is an imbalance which causes a person to be short on emotions and high on head work. Such a person is commonly known as cold blooded. When the reverse becomes true, we have a impulsive character.

Most of us open our consciousness to the first three bodies. When our consciousness moves towards the upper four bodies, we begin to perceive non physical beings.
