Make your thoughts crystal clear - IV
The question of handling negative experiences came up again. I will discuss this before going to the subject of the post.
I had discussed this question in one of my earlier posts. Seeing the serious concern around this issue, I feel the necessity to discuss once more.
By this time, we should be having a good idea on why negative experiences happen to us. It's the Law all the way.
Say you are walking down a street and suddenly come across a situation where you find a man being beaten up by some hooligans. How do you respond?
You have two options. You can ignore the incident and walk away. When you do that it will leave a bad taste in your mouth. The other option is to jump in and try to protect the victim. You may sustain injuries yourself. In both the options the outcome for you is not good.
If you think yourself to be the "champion of the weak" or "protector of the under-privileged", you will continue to have such experiences the outcome of which will always be negative for you.
What I am suggesting requires deep thinking and understanding on your part. Think and understand why some weak people become strong and others remain weak, why some underprivileged become privileged and others remain under-privileged. Each person is responsible for what happens to him as he is the creator of his world.
So when you come across such a situation, what do you do? I say, for the time being, do what you feel fit. As you progress on the path of the Law, such experiences, which do not have a positive option, will gradually disappear from your life. Understand that the best option for you is to use your prosperity in helping to uplift the weak and the under-privileged. Use your mentoring skills, your wealth, your social influence in uplifting the weak and the under-privileged by focussing on the solution. Understand that the poor, weak and under-privileged do not want their misfortunes and they are stuck in the rut because they are focusing on their negative situation and attracting what they do not want. The moment you feel sorry for them, sympatise with them, you start attracting those negativities to you. So focus on the solution and not on the problem.
Let us revert back to our subject.
I personally use many visualisations during the course of any day. With practice it hardly takes 15 seconds for every visualisation.
Before I drive to any place, I always visualise that the traffic opens out ahead of me and I am moving smoothly through the traffic reaching my destination safely in time.
Before I enter a meeting, I visualise that I am opening up the discussions, I am able to get lots of feedback and take the best decision.
Before I take my food, I visualise the food digesting easily and energising me.
It has become a habit with me and now comes to me easily. So will it for you. Practise with perseverance.
We must understand that whatever we are is due to our past thinking. So let us prepare our tomorrow deliberately. There is a time gap before your deep desires start manifesting. Visualise what you want everyday to consistently manifest that which you want everyday in future. All the action is now.
Ciao. Namaste.
