The Law
The funny part of thought is that when one gets addicted to certain thought patterns, he starts demanding recurrence of similar thoughts or the experiences connected with such thoughts. The entire process is unconscious, the conscious action being that such a person thinks that something is missing from his life unless the addicted thoughts come pouring in.
As we know by now that what we project out via our thought process, we attract more of the same. A person depressed, hopeless and whining is laying out a red carpet for more such feelings to walk into his life. When one allows fear and gets paralysed by the fear, more fears are on the way. Fear is fine and natural but the willingness to act inspite of the fear takes the sting out of fear.
I have come across a good number of persons ho are suffering from a disease which I call "victimitis". People suffering from this disease consider that everything in the universe works against them - be it other people, environment, society, whatever. Such persons get perverse pleasure out of complaining about their woes. They interpret the most innocuous incident as deliberate action by someone to hurt them. They have handed over the control of their life to external forces. These persons are, unconsciously, demanding that they be hurt so that they get their nicotine.
I say that think good thoughts, invite good thoughts and demand good thoughts. Demand wisely and we will get what we demand as The Law says.
We will tell people what is good in them and will show to them by personal examples where they need to improve. We will not hold the sword of judgement and the reformer over their heads for we are not the judge. In truth there is no judge in this life or after. The only judge is the self. We will not despise a person for what is not good in him. What we despise is what we attract. We will not indulge in gossip and evil talk. When we are in the midst of such talk, we will change the tide of the talk by injecting peasant and profitable subjects.
We tend to remember persons who have hurt and slighted us in the past. We are not able to throw off such remembrances. This is because we have drawn on to us the opposing and hostile views of those persons. They are thinking of you as you are. Both parties are in the process of exchanging psychic blows. Both the parties are getting hurt in the process. Our environment in day to day life is full of such psychic warfare.
How do we get out of such warfare? By forgetting the slights and insults. Instead we will send out thoughts of goodwill and blessings. The cycle has to be broken. Who, better than us, to take the initiative. When we do that, doubts may crop up in our mind that we are being weak. We know that we are strong and secure. A weak person retracts from a conflict. a strong person tends to end the conflict secure in his knowledge that it is for the best of all concerned. Other may perceive you to be weak. How the others perceive is their business. It really does not matter.
Forgetting the things left behind and pressing forward to the new is necessary for creating, for vitality and for happiness. Living in the past serves no purpose. We have nothing to do with what we were a year back other that learning from the experience. Each day is an opportunity for new birth, for a fresh start. Live in the Now. Always demand to be in a higher state of mind where only good thoughts have their accommodation.

See you soon.
