The Law
I am coming back to The Law after a period of two and half months, my last post being on 14th Nov 2015.
I have been silent on this issue for sometime, as I wanted to give my friends some time to internalise the concepts. Some of my friends got back to me for clarifying and giving a feedback on their progress. I am eternally thankful to them as they also taught me as they learnt. I am happy for all of you who are practising and progressing. It is normal that some will need more time than others. Six of my friends have achieved abundance beyond what they thought possible.
I will, in my next few posts, recap the basic concepts and elaborate on certain concepts further. Consider these as supporting informations.
We have understood that where the mind goes, life follows. In other words we become what we think. Not all our thoughts manifest. For a thought to become reality, it has to become a predominant thought. A predominant thought is one which we think incessantly with emotion and feeling. A predominant thought will stay with us during the waking hours. All our actions will be driven towards materialising the predominant thought. All our energies will be primarily invested in manifesting such a thought. Our activities will no longer be restless. They will become calm and determined. We have also understood that spiritual development equips us to manifest deliberately. By spiritual development we mean our ability to focus our mind to prevent frittering of our mental energy, ethical thinking, living life on right principles and developing a healthy mindset.
Spiritual development makes the thought razor sharp. There is a pitfall to it which we must guard against. A negative emotion generated within a spiritually developed individual can cause damage to the person at whom the negative emotion is directed. Our religious scriptures are full of stories on curses by Gods, Saints and Yogis. The curses imposed by the spiritually advanced beings were things to be afraid of. The generation of negative emotions within the spiritual beings also hurts them by generating bad karma which they would need to take care subsequently.
Those of us who are frustrated in efforts to manifest are not using the thought process correctly. Let us see, step by step, the manifestation process so that we could single out the step or steps, where we could be going wrong.
Firstly, we must know very clearly what we want. The goal must be clear. If we go on changing our goal, the focus of thought will also change taking out the predominancy factor. Most of us do not know what we really want I.e. what is going to make us happy and contented. So take some time and define your goal. When defining your goal, do not limit yourself by your current status. Nor should you set a goal so high which your mind refuses to accept. Select the goal in a way that you will be happy and contented once you attain it. It usually so happens that after reaching the goal, you will have an urge to reach for higher goal. It is fine. Set the process on again. In fact this is very healthy and keeps us growing further and further.
The pitfall of setting a low target is that the urge to achieve a low goal is also low key and more often than not we will miss it. The difficulty in setting a very high target is that at the back of mind there is resistance to it. When this happens we start questioning our self worth. The thoughts loose their sharpness and conviction. We must remember that for the manifestation process to work, our desire or want and faith or conviction, in our ability to manifest will have to be complete.
We will examine the next step in the next post.
Ciao
