Life after life

The investigation of a phenomenon - Survival of Bodily Death

What happens to us after we die? Do we perish for ever after our death? Is there anything beyond our physical body? Are "we" immortal? Is there a soul which knows no death?

These questions have intrigued us since time immemorial. Most of us do not know the answer for sure. The subject is beyond what we can perceive with our physical senses. And we are trained not to believe what we are unable to perceive with our physical senses. Our inability to comprehend such subtle matters has caused an undesirable side effect - plethora of hoaxes, superstitions etc.

We have a book here researched and written by a world renowned scholar, lecturer and researcher. The book is a result of his investigation of about 100 cases of persons who were clinically declared dead and subsequently revived. First published in 1975, this book created ripples all over the world. The book is objective and the author has taken care to weed away the floss.

Raymond A. Moody Jr. Ph.D, MD earned a BA (1966), M.A. (1967) and a PhD (1969) in philosophy from the University of Virginia. He also obtained a PhD in psychology from the University of West Georgia, then known as West Georgia College, where he later became a professor. In 1976, he was awarded an M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia.

After obtaining his M.D., Moody worked as a forensic psychiatrist in a maximum-security Georgia state hospital. In 1998, Moody was appointed Chair in Consciousness Studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
